When we first met Megan and David they were so laid back and easy going. We knew we'd get along wonderfully! Truthfully, we weren't originally hired to photograph Megan and David's special day. After the original photographer (a friend of ours) had something big come up making them unavailable to shoot, we took over this wedding for her. Boy are we so glad we had the opportunity to work with them! They were all a delight!
Megan and David tied the knot in the beautifully historic, Glenwood Lutheran Church, right next to the Toledo Museum of Art in Downtown Toledo. It was supposed to rain that day, specifically during our portrait session, but the rain never came! There were so many special moments throughout the day. Many including Megans daughter, Madison. What a doll she is! There was a moment before Megan walked down the aisle that David gave Madison a rose and had a special moment with her. We weren't expecting it but those are the moments that remind us why we do this. So glad we could capture that for them!
After the ceremony we scooted on over to the Art Museum to take some photos. The stairs at the Toledo Museum of Art are stunning and one of the most popular places for wedding and prom photos in Toledo. We had a ton of fun with the bridal party then headed south to Bowling Green , Oh for the reception.
The reception took place at the historic Clazel Theater in Downtown Bowling Green, OH. It's always a fun time shooting at this unique venue! The Clazel has so much character and the marque out front featuring the couples name is a nice touch!
Thank you for accepting us with open arms to photograph your gorgeous day Megan and David! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
