What was the most memorable moment of your day ?

So hard to choose but when we were first coming into Nazareth Hall and everyone was cheering and celebrating us!! Also the trolley ride there with all the Whiteclaw… very memorable.

Any Advice for Future Bride and Grooms?

Make sure to take at least one moment away from all the greeting and dancing to just be by yourselves as a couple and take in everything that’s happening around you – the best and most beautiful party in your life is happening. And everyone is here for YOU… to celebrate YOUR love! It truly is a beautiful thing, and I’ll always remember the moment we did that on our own near the end of the night and took stock of all the joy around us. It made us so thankful and feel so loved and blessed. Also – John says: “don’t stess about literally anything cause it goes by so effing quick… just enjoy everythjng and have in your heart the reason for the day!”

Tell us about the wedding dress!

My absolute dream dress – a strapless Leanne Marshall gown from The Gown Shop with a layered, romantic and flowing (but not bushy) skirt, with a lace topper that gave an off the shoulder appearance to the dress. It was perfect since I was looking for an off the shoulder A-line dress, but with some flare in the skirt! Totally unique, vintage-y, and so comfortable.

Bonus Favorite Moments –

One of my best friends through high school (and then college) organized this surprise dance to Crocodile Rock by Elton John where everyone was dancing around us, getting on the floor… it was wild and just so thoughtful of him. We will never forget it!!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Cocobay Resort in Antigua – highly recommend if you’re not the Sandals type (which we aren’t).

Favorite Part about working with our team?

So hard to narrow down to just one thing so I won’t…

1) The easy going nature and friendliness of the whole team.. even from the first phone call I knew Jess had to be our photographer!

2) The ability to be in the background but also take command when needed

3) Working to get every shot we had asked for.. and THEN some… some of our favorite shots were ones the team organized for us!

4) The absolute amazing quality of our photos! Not trendy, dark photos but classic shots that we’ll be able to show our grandkids! We’re so so thankful and always recommend Viridian ivy to all our friends who are starting to get engaged!
