I’m gong to go ahead and put this out there that this is one of our Top 5 favorite engagement sessions we’ve ever done. Casey and RJ were so fun and easy to photograph! Their chemistry, laughter, joy, perfect wardrobes ( I wanted to steal all of Casey’s clothes), and the connection we’ve built so far together are a few of the things that made it so perfect. Can we talk about her dress from Anthropologie for a minute? K.
I have to give a huge shout out to Billie Jo of Beauty by Billie Jo who did Casey’s makeup for this session! It looked flawless and photographed beautifully. We highly recommend her! We could also write a whole blog post on why you should get your makeup done for sessions! Someday. 🙂
We went to two location and had three outfits therefore we decided to break this up into two blogs for your viewing pleasure. Also, there’s just too many we want to share!
I met Casey and RJ downtown at Durty Bird on the most perfect fall afternoon for their engagement session. After a glass of wine and catching up on all things wedding planning, my wedding and new house we moved onto our first location. Casey wanted some photos by the water so we checked out the new park in downtown Toledo, Middlegrounds, which I highly recommend ! It’s beautiful and I imagine will only be better next year as it grows.
These two were up for anything! We climbed down rocks to get closer to the water and they danced their way through the park cuddling, laughing and giggling. Making my job so hard. 😉
I hope you all enjoy these favorites from the first part of their session as much as we do! Stay tuned for Part Two!
