I’m going to start from the beginning with this one. Nicole emailed us the day after she got engaged and said that contacting Viridian Ivy was the first thing on her list! She had been following us on Instagram and just knew she wanted us as her photographers. She booked us before having a date or venue! These are the things that make our hearts SO happy. Needless to say, I liked her immediately. We spoke on the phone and our bond grew even more. We just clicked! After meeting them for the first time in person at their engagement session in Cleveland, they felt like old friends.

Fast forward to their June wedding day! I can’t say it went completely smoothly but it was nearly perfect and they were married and that’s all that matters. That pesky spring rain that lingered forever just would not leave us alone this day. The outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside less than 30 minutes prior. It poured cats and dogs the rest of the night. And can I just say, thank God for a conservatory on a rainy wedding day! Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is one epic place. It was a life saver and so dang GORGEOUS! So colorful which was fitting for their day. I mean did you SEEEE Nicole’s bouquet? I have never seen anything quite as impressive as that creation!! Ashley’s Floral is TALENTED people! If rain is really good luck on your wedding day, these two gained lifetimes of it. They don’t need it though. They are utterly perfect for each other. We can’t wait to see the rest of your love story unfold.
